Have you thought about the tone or voice you create when you interact with social media? As a business leader, using social media can be ineffective if you aren’t also guarding your reputation and brand closely. Part of that brand is your voice, the things you stand for and the way in which you interact with others. If you happen to be a solopreneur, creating a brand voice isn’t as difficult, but how do you remove emotion or frustration from your online interactions? Consistency is critical to your business’s brand and identity!
Xing – Another allstar social network, only this one is from those crazy Germans. Quality outbound links, good network base, pages for company and individuals, and sittin’ on a PR8. Not much to say, this is pretty vanilla. It ranks well, it helps your other sites rank, and it is a great social pillar to add to your online empire.

DEPENDABILITY. Do what you say you will do. This can be tricky, because it involves a certain amount of self knowledge and self management. If you say you’ll follow up by 9 a.m. Friday, you have to know what is feasible for you to be true to your word. How long will it take you to finish a project based on other things going on? You keep your schedule and know your work habits..
I like to start my connection with people much higher up by borrowing from the credibility and the Online Reputation Management of the other person. It saves time and yields better return.
The last and probably the easiest way to find a company for the job is by actually talking to them. Check the way they answer your question. If, at any point of time, you feel that the company is taking you for a ride and doesn’t quite instil a sense of trust in you, then you can back off.
First, do not get too excited to sell your coaching programs instead, start by building relationship with your prospects. Get to know these people and be willing to listen to them. Let them talk about their problems and let them ask you their question. Be patient in providing answers and giving out expert advice without getting in return (at least not yet). The goal here is to give these people a chance to know you and to convince them that you’re an expert and a good coach. Once you’ve earned their trust, it’ll be much easier to get them to sign up because they already know that you will not fail them.
It is also important to bare in mind, that if you look and sound like the rest of the hungry “choose me” brigade, then you are one of them. If it looks like a pig and smells like a pig, then it’s probably a pig. Remember, old school, interruptive selling is dead.
